“LA PIANTATA” TREE HOUSE B & B
Nested in a century-old oak you will find the architectural structure depicted in every man’s dream
Considering what to do with the big tree?
We have an idea for you to consider. An idea that will add some extra coolness to your garden and more buck to pay the rent. Build a treehouse and transform the enormous structure into a bed-and breakfast hotel room. Okay, we didn’t get the idea but the owner of La Piantata did just that. We suggest you judge the result by inspecting the pictures below. The “tree-hotel-room” is built in Italy, more specifically in the lavender hills of Arlena di Castro. The “house” itself measures 474 square feet and the awe-inspiring structure is situated 26 feet above the ground.
What to expect?
After you have made you way up the stairs, you are met with a furnished terrace situating directly inside a century old oak tree, a queen sized sleeping area and a fully equipped bathroom. In the morning, the pulley system will provide with a treatment of locally grown morning courses and ingredients. The owner charge $430 per night for two, so surely you can provide your family with bread on the table should you carry this idea into life.
